Globalization and nationalism in the modern world

The article deals with the problems of globalization and nationalism in the modern world. The problems are related by means of examples, where the main idea is that a natural antagonist and a worthy opponent of globalization in the world today is paradoxically - nationalism. Nationalism is the response to the process of dividing the world to the developed "North" and resource-oriented, backward "South". This is especially vividly seen in the level of both economic and cultural development, which implies a growth of conflict tends at aspiration on preservation of national, cultural values. It also carries with it an excessive amount of negative consequences, which does not allow to consider it as a reliable tool in the fight against the globalism "temptations".
