Preparing teacher's ability to shape general academic skills among juniour schoolchildren

The article is concerned with the pedagogue's ability to shape general academic skills among juniour schoolchildren. The model for an efficient teacher preparation to the given type of pedagogic activity is presented on the basis of the studied literature and the results of an experimental work as to the level of preparedness among the Mordovian republic pedagogues. The model approbated within the courses on teachers' qualification improvement at the Mordovian Republican Education Institute and results are set forth.
