The problem of ethnicity in digital communication

The article presents a hypothesis about the impact of network communication technologies on ethnic communities. In an industrial society, under massed conditions of leveling the way of life and emphasizing professional qualities, the line between ethnic communities was erased. On the example of this socio-cultural process, the introduction of institutional structures of a new technological order is imposed, a striking example of which is network communications. The next transformation of the ethnic component of identity into a subcultural component that does not act as a factor for a large community.
