The problem of the crisis or evolution of the family in the context of a paradigm approach

Society is going through the inevitable processes of modernization of the traditional family. The purpose of this paper is to conduct a general analysis of the situation around the status of the modern family as an institution that is experiencing a crisis or evolution. The novelty of this research is attributed to the proposed assessment of the modern family in the context of a paradigm approach. The paradigm is understood as a generally accepted pattern of human thinking characteristic of a certain stage of development. Accordingly, the paradigm approach makes it possible to reveal the essence of the observed processes of social reality as a fact of the evolution of human thinking. The object of the study is the family. The subject of the study is the problem of the crisis or the evolution of the family in the context of the paradigm approach. The author comes to the conclusion that the observed metamorphoses of the family institute are based on the evolutionary processes of human thinking caused by the transformation of social technologies.
