91 cases of femoral artery pseudoaneurysm as a complication after the endovascular transfemoral intervention were analyzed. Diagnosis of femoral artery pseudoaneurysm was established based on clinical, laboratory, and instrumental data. Initially, all patient received compression treatment of the femoral artery pseudoaneurysm with the "FemoStop" femoral compression system. If this treatment did not yield successful results, surgical procedure (Group 1) or obliteration with ultrasoundguided thrombin injection (Group 2) were performed. Analysis of immediate and longterm (from two months to one year) results showed that the ultrasoundguided thrombin injection can be considered to be the method of choice. Effectiveness of this method was similar to that of surgery. The ultrasoundguided thrombin injection resulted in less number of complications, was simple to handle, was psychologically and physically easy for patients to undergo, and decreased length of hospital stay.
