Student’s personality problem in distance postgraduate education

Scientific literature analysis on the problem of personality meta-competencies, such as information processing, self-regulation, and communication, is reviewed. The focus is on additional professional education as the quintessence of remote communication and learning environments properties. It is revealed that the main contradictions are the reliance on subjective experience and the desire of digital media to "construct" this experience, the tendency to move away from the content of interaction to "just communication" and an inadequate assessment of the reliability and objectivity of the information provided.
