This article discusses concepts such as the concept of marketing and marketing communications. The relevance of the topic is due to the fact that the construction sector is developing quite quickly and is equated in terms of "competitiveness" with many other firms in other industries in the field of marketing communications. The article discusses the concept of marketing communications and their types and methods of application in the construction industry. The main marketing communications that a firm can use in the construction industry are considered, such as: advertising, PR activities, public relations, sales promotion, personal contacts. Based on the results obtained, the principle of choosing a particular type of marketing communications for construction companies was formulated, and the problem of their use and precise definition was identified.
