The problem of national color perception in the process of teaching painting for art-graphic faculties students: Kazakhstan context

The article examines the problem of artistic and graphic faculties students’ understanding of the national coloristic specifics in painting of Kazakhstan. The possibilities of coloristic nomadic mentality as an important factor in modern Kazakhstani fine arts educational programs (on an example of painting) for the future artists-teachers are analyzed.The main purpose of the article is to justify the importance of national understanding of color in painting as an integral element of the national cultural code. The article describes the process of students’ in-depth theoretical study of the semantics of national coloring in the framework of some academic disciplines at the initial courses. As a result students improve their creativity and pictorial skills in the format of final diploma projects on a national theme.On the basis of experimental research, certain results have been obtained, confirming the need for partial updating of the theoretical and practical component of curricula for art education for bachelors with an emphasis on semantics of national color.
