The problem of uncertainty in the practice of forensic linguistic expertise (abstract review)

The review is devoted to the issues of uncertainty in decision-making during forensic linguistic examination. The article analyzes the results of research in this area of expert activity, possible decision-making options related to a particular proposed theoretical base. The findings and available gaps are discussed. The abstract review is based of an evaluative nature: it attempts to understand critically well-known and generally accepted concepts and categories used by the expert linguist. The method of working with the material is the analysis of current publications of the last decades of leading Russian scientific journals on law and expert activity, as well as a number of fundamental monographs on the subject of the review. A summary analysis of the results of scientific research on the problem of uncertainty is given.
