The problem of unconscious psychic phenomena: the analysis of research experience

The article examines philosophical and psychological approaches to the problem of unconscious mental phenomena. It is shown that during all periods of ideas evolution the problem of unconscious troubled philosophers and scientists, despite the differences in their views. Special attention is paid to the cognitive approach to the study of interaction between unconscious and conscious processes.
