The problem of waste management in airports

In this paper, the problem of the formation of the main types of waste at airports is considered. The main sources of waste and their composition are identified. In addition, the classification of wastes generated during the operation of the airport is presented. A short evaluation of the current waste management scheme is given. The impact of waste on the environment is assessed, highlighting the main consequences of disposal in various ways. Proposals are formed on the basis of literature on waste utilization with the subsequent possibility of recycling waste.
