The problem of defining the concept of “network generation”: a philosophical analysis

The problem of generations is of great interest to scientists today and underlies a number of scientific theories. This article is devoted to the concept of generations, as well as to the study of the network generation through the prism of a philosophical and anthropological approach. The article provides a brief description of the main stages of the formation of generational theories, analyzes the most well-known approaches to the definition of the term “generation”, and discusses the main problems of defining generations within the framework of existing approaches. The author proposes a definition of the concept of generation from the point of view of philosophical discourse. From this point of view, we also consider the understanding of the network generation (Generation Z), whose representatives had to face an existential challenge directly related to changing ideas about man - the anthropological crisis. In the context of this crisis, the socio-psychological and cognitive changes of today's man are considered.
