Problem of alienation in the philosophy of Erich Fromm

The purpose of this article is to examine the problems of alienation in the philosophy of Erich Fromm. Unlike Marx, Fromm applied to the analysis of the current situation of man an individual, rather than a class approach. In this regard, he considered human needs for their authenticity, which was a stranger to the human values of the consumer society.
