The issue of succession of the historical memory of people in the story “Fall in Zadonye” by B.P. Ekimov

The article deals with the ways of the revealing of the interrelation of the history and the present time in the story of the new millennium where the contemporary artist B.P. Ekimov, continuing the humanistic tradition of the Russian rural prose of the past century, with the consideration of the today’s sociocultural and economic situation creates the heroes’ characters who are able to be the reliable masters of the Cossack region, the heritors and keeper of the historical memory of people, his labor and spiritual and moral traditions.
