The problem of the application of the principle of reciprocity in the criminal procedure of the Russian Federation

In this article we are talking about one of the problematic issues, namely the application of the principle of reciprocity in the performance of a request for legal assistance. The author of the article analyzes the current Russian legislation concerning the principle of reciprocity. As a result, the author comes to the conclusion that the domestic legislation has a number of gaps and suggests ways to address them.
