The problem of recruiting regional political elites in modern Russia

In modern society, there is a need to increase the effectiveness of the recruitment system of regional political elites, given the huge influence of this social group on the effectiveness of the development of both the region and the entire country. This is largely due to the strategically important positions that the political elite occupies in the public structure. It is not only about the concentration of power resources. Political elites determine the strategic direction of the political process, the dynamics of the development of all spheres of public life, and form the political space.
