A way of improving military and technical training of students at the department of armored forces

The relevance of the study is explained by the requirements of modern development of the Armored Forces, by quantitative and qualitative growth of technical equipment, by the need to increase the level of professional qualifications and competence of officers intended to operate modern sophisticated weapons and technologies. The purpose of the article is to identify the ways to improve the professional competence of officers that is the graduates of the Department of Armored Forces of the Faculty of Military Training. The article considers the main problems faced in the process of study of military-technical disciplines at the Department of Armored Forces, and suggests the ways of using various items of learning in order to achieve the qualification requirements to the graduates of the Department of Armored Forces. The curriculum for military-technical disciplines was analyzed. Three ways to improve military-technical training of students are offered: the clarification of the content items; the clarification of qualification requirements on military major; the use of more effective forms and methods of conducting classes on the subjects of military-technical training. The materials can be used to develop documents on military-technical training of reserve officers at the departments of military education.
