The problem of traditions and innovation in the reform of rural school: by experience of the Krasnoyarsk territory

The article deals with the features of the reform of rural school by the example of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. It identifies two strategies in the reform of rural school: the optimization of the school network, taken as a basis by the regional authorities, and the development of the model of school with no class-lesson organization of educational process on the basis of multi-age learning, initiated by teachers-innovators. The author comes to the conclusion that a necessary condition for the successful reform of rural school is the harmonization of traditions and innovation.
