The problem of developing the will to lead in military cadets: conceptual and terminological apparatus

The relevance of the analysis of the conceptual apparatus of the study related to the problem of nurturing the commander's will in cadets of military educational institutions of the Russian Guard as a key military-professional quality necessary for effective management of units is substantiated. The main concepts of the problem under study are revealed and systematized: “will”, “commander's will”, “education”, “education of the commander's will in cadets of military universities”, which allows for a deeper understanding of their relationship and significance in the process of training future commanders. The results of the study can be in demand when organizing work in the direction of military-professional education and training of personnel for the armed forces of Russia.
