The problem of choosing strategies of behavior in conflict by future teachers as an element of professional training for working with children

One of the competencies of a modern teacher is the competence associated with resolving conflict situations, which requires a conscious approach of future teachers to conflicts in general and strategies for resolving them in particular. An analysis of the results of studies conducted in various educational institutions of higher and secondary vocational education showed that future teachers in conflict situations act spontaneously, use ineffective behavior strategies and need targeted preparation for the conscious use of the entire range of behavior strategies in conflict, depending on the object, subject, professional and personal significance of the conflict, own interests, interests of the opponent. Preparation for a conscious choice of a strategy of behavior in a conflict should consist of several stages: a study of the preferred, unconsciously chosen, characteristic strategy for a given person; personality analysis of its effectiveness in various conflict situations; awareness of the effectiveness of using different strategies in relation to different conflict situations; training in the skills of using different strategies of behavior in conflict, depending on the content, causes, object, subject, significance of the conflict for the individual.
