Problems of development of the territory of the Arctic and the Far North

The article deals with some aspects of the development of the Arctic and the Far North of Russia. The study summarizes some key problems in the development of these territories. It is shown that infrastructure and transport development are the most important tools for increasing their efficiency and role in the country's economy. The results obtained to a certain extent expand the theoretical knowledge about the subject area under consideration. The key problems of transport routes of this macroregion are also detailed.
