Problematic aspects of counteracting the participation of minors in the illegal trafficking of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their analogues

The article studies approach to organizing and implementing measures to combat the involvement of minors in illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their analogues. The analysis of the dynamics and specifics of involving minors in illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their analogues is carried out, including using the Internet. It has been established that a number of factors, psychological and socio-economic reasons contribute to the involvement of minors in the distribution of prohibited substances. In the current situation, increasing the effectiveness of counteracting the participation of minors in illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their analogues is a complex and systemic task that should be addressed not only by law enforcement agencies, but also by other government institutions, as well as society. A conclusion is made about the need to improve the system of counteracting the involvement of minors in illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their analogues, expand preventive work, increase the effectiveness of solving crimes in this area, which should be a priority task requiring a systemic and comprehensive solution from the authorities and the public. In the current situation, it is necessary to form a unified model for managing preventive activities at the state level in relation to minimizing the risks of involving minors in the illegal circulation of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their analogues, taking into account regional characteristics, administrative and socio-economic specifics. Possible directions for conducting a comprehensive scientific study in the area under consideration, its main tasks and approaches are determined.
