Problematic aspects of the legislative regulation of the procedural interaction of the investigator with the body of inquiry to ensure compensation for harm caused by the crime

Protecting the rights of victims of crimes, restoring their property interests, proving the nature and extent of the harm caused by the crime and taking measures to ensure redress in criminal proceedings is a criminalprocedure function, namelyofan investigator. However the legislative regulation of the legal mechanism of the investigators procedural activities in the search for property belonging to the suspect, the accused, which may be seized, is clearly not perfect, due to the lack of special legal norms conducive to the effective implementation of this function by the investigator. As a result ofthe study the author gives specific suggestions for improving the current legislation.
