In the article, based on the analysis of the conclusions of the experts of the KGB of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Bureau of Forensic Medical Examination, the authors consider the problems of assigning and organizing the production of forensic medical examination to determine the indelibility of facial injuries. The conducted research revealed that in 30% of cases, law enforcement officers, when appointing a forensic medical examination, along with correct questions, formulate questions to doctors by forensic medical experts that go beyond their special knowledge. According to the conclusions of the doctors of the forensic medical experts of the CCBSME, all scars located within the anatomical boundaries of the face are indelible, which cannot be agreed with. The issue of the indelibility of facial injuries is the subject of a comprehensive examination, in which, in addition to the doctors of expert commissions working in the department of complex examinations of the Bureau of Forensic Medical Examinations, a cosmetologist surgeon should be involved, which must be fixed in the new Order "On Approval of the Procedure for determining the severity of harm caused to human health."
