The article analyzes the results of the recent social researches of standards and quality of living of Azerbaijan population. The author considers the modifying of human value system, the degree of people's economic adaptation to the market conditions, and concludes the necessity of carrying out a complex research to get a comprehensive insight into the quality of life of the population.
