Problems of formation of a microtezaurus on agricultural mechanization

The problems of forming a thematic segment on agricultural mechanization of the information retrieval thesaurus on agriculture and food created in the CSAL are investigated. The possibilities of presenting the terms of the thesaurus and microthesaurus “Enginery in Agriculture” in the automated ASARD system and the new OPAC-Global LMS are considered. The advantages and disadvantages of these systems are noted. The technologies of inputting new terms in these systems and their difficulties are briefly considered.
