The article deals with the challenges of Russian language functioning in the legal procedure. The authors consider the rules of the standard language norm usage in legal documents, show how to put legal content into the linguistic standard correctly. The particular attention is given to the problem of perfection of the language skills, which are necessary for the court officials of the new generation.
