The article is devoted to the study of the main characteristics of administrative responsibility and the problems of bringing to administrative responsibility for the commission of offenses in the field of traffic, the directions that practical bodies face in the application of the current legislation are disclosed. Based on the practice of considering cases, when bringing to administrative responsibility for committing administrative offenses, in the field of traffic, the modern legislation of the Russian Federation has gaps in the field of bringing to administrative responsibility.
