Problems and prospects for the development of lean production in regions with environmental regulation

The article is devoted to assessing the current state and identifying the prospects for the development of lean production in the region. The losses of the production system formulated by T. It and supplemented by other scientists in the development of scientific theory are shown. On the example of the Republic of Buryatia, the practice of using lean production tools by enterprises and organizations of various industry ties is presented. The principles of lean production, highlighted by domestic and foreign scientists, are presented. The main factors that restrain and contribute to the development of lean production in the region are given. It has been shown that environmental regulation of production and economic activities can be considered as a deterrent and a factor in the development of lean production. Directions for the development of lean production in the Republic of Buryatia are determined.
