Problems and prospects of development of special economic zones in the Russian Federation

This topic is still relevant at the present time, since free economic zones are an important economic institution and appear mainly as a factor in accelerated economic growth due to the intensification of trade, mobilization of investments, exchange of technologies, information, and deepening of integration economic processes. The article analyzes the problems and prospects for the development of the SEZ of the Russian Federation, examines the characteristic features of the SEZ, determines the prerequisites for organizing the successful functioning of the SEZ, the directions of development of special economic zones in Russia in the near future. The main problems of SEZ functioning in Russia are considered. For the effective development of SEZs in the Russian Federation, it is necessary to constantly improve all aspects affecting the functioning of the zones.
