Problems and prospects for the development of tourism in the municipality

The article presents the results of tourism development in the Dzerzhinsky district of the Kaluga region, examines the municipal program “Development of tourism in the territory of the municipal district Dzerzhinsky district”, approved by the resolution of the district administration dated 02/08/2021 No. 139. The results and prospects for the development of tourism in the area are analyzed, including an increase volume of tourist flow, length of stay of tourists, number of agricultural tourism objects. The author has revealed that the implementation of investment projects, such as the construction of hotel complexes, sports and recreation complexes and the reconstruction of historical sites, can contribute to the development of tourism in the area and increase its competitiveness in the tourism services market.
