Problems and prospects for the development of the "green economy" in the Republic of Uzbekistan

The development of a "green" economy in Uzbekistan is a set of measures aimed at sustainable economic growth while minimizing the negative impact on the environment. A "green" economy is understood as such forms of economic activity that contribute to the reduction of pollutant emissions, rational use of natural resources and the creation of jobs in the "green" sectors of the economy. The article provides a comparative analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of "green" growth and the main indicators of progress in the "green" transformation. It is proven that a comprehensive and balanced approach, including strategic planning, effective financial instruments and international technical support, forms a reliable basis for sustainable economic growth, improving the well-being of the population and preserving the country's natural capital.
