Problems and prospects of regulation of socio-economic development of the Krasnodar region

The sustainable development of the Kuban economy is considered as a result of state regulation of the system of reproduction of the gross regional product. It is shown that the administration of the Krasnodar Territory in a strategic aspect is transferring local producers to the path of global competitiveness based on the creation of a creative industry. The main directions of innovative reforming of the regional economy are analyzed, including the institutional design of structural innovations, the development of intersectoral clusters and project management. Among the key problems of the socio-economic development of the Kuban, the difficulties of introducing breakthrough technologies for the production and marketing of products, the risks of attracting excess information capital and financing support for innovation from the regional budget on a residual basis are identified.
