Problems and prospects of strategic planning at the municipal level

The article deals with the main stages of formation and development of strategic management in the Russian Federation. The key objectives of the strategic development of Russia until 2024 are considered. The issues of implementation of strategic planning directions on the example of individual municipalities are studied. The main problems of strategic planning at the municipal level are identified and possible ways to overcome them are highlighted.
