Problems and prospects of introducing structural products to the Russian Federation financial market

The article analyzes the opinions of various economists about advantages and disadvantages of structured products. Based on the analysis, the author’s position was formulated. Foreign experience was compared with the Russian: the main differences of the Russian financial market, prospects and barriers to the introduction of structured products were considered; recommendations for removing barriers are given, taking into account the specifics of the national economy.
