The article analyzes the problems and ways of developing consumer lending in a commercial bank of the Russian Federation. The concept of consumer lending is considered, statistics on the volume of consumer lending in Russia for 2018-2022 are given. and a change in the key rate and a list of banks by the largest volume of consumer lending. Actual problems of the banking sector are identified, a forecast is given for the volume of consumer lending in 2022.
