Problems and current trends in the development of internal state financial control of the Russian Federation

The article is devoted to the identification and study of problems and current trends in the development of internal state financial control in the Russian Federation by federal executive authorities. The relevance of the study of financial control of federal executive authorities lies in the special role of managing the financial flows of the state. To assess the effectiveness of internal state financial control activities, the paper presents the results of the control work of the bodies exercising internal state financial control for 2020. The analysis of the dynamics of the results of the activities of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation and the Federal Treasury over three years allowed us to identify the current trends in the mechanism of state financial control within the country. In the course of the study, the main shortcomings of the existing system of state financial control on the part of federal executive authorities were identified, as well as measures to reform this sphere of economic relations were considered.
