Problems of import substitution in Russia and their influence on national economic security

The author has analyzed the main problems blocking the implementation of the Import Substitution Strategy in Russia. Such problems are the disinterest of leading Russian companies and the potentially low efficiency of production chains being built in Russia. These problems not only complicate the implementation of the Import Substitution Strategy, but also weaken national economic security. According to the author, these problems can be overcome by activating state support for import substitution.
