The publication describes the characteristics of the legal basis for calculating the beginning of the limitation period in cases of applying to the judicial authorities for the protection of the violated. The judgment that the limitation period has a mixed legal nature is substantiated, simultaneously reflected in both substantive and procedural law and its calculation is associated with the beginning of the flow
