Challenges of using news to cover sporting events

Due to the rapidly developing technologies in the work of the media, the legal regulation of the use of news messages to cover sports events in the Russian Federation and the United States of America cannot be called established, and the practice of its application is uniform. The American doctrine, which has been invariably applied in judicial practice for several decades, has undergone conceptual changes in recent years. In Russian legislation, the topic under discussion is currently poorly regulated: the application of general civil law standards raises questions, and special media laws require refinement regarding the regulation of electronic publications.
