Problems of elemental composition of the civil law legislative system

The article is devoted to the problematic issues in the application of the concept “an element of a system”, which has been developed in the general theory of systems, to the characterisation of normative legal act as an element of a civil legislative system. In this case the very concept of an “element” thoroughly researched and an attempt to “adapt” it to the legal matter is made.
