In modern conditions, the problem of finding optimal approaches and methods for the effective use of human resources in the field of municipal management is becoming especially relevant. The quality of the provision of municipal services largely depends on the professionalism of the administration employees. The article analyzes the personnel structure of the municipal district administration, considers the possibilities and prospects for improving the personnel potential of the organization. These issues are investigated on the example of the activities of the administration of one of the municipal districts of the Lipetsk region. This is a typical Russian region and the directions for optimizing the use of its personnel potential can be applied in the practice of other territorial entities.
