Problems of modernization of postreform Russian society in political journalism and K. N. Leontyev's correspondence

Article contains the analysis of a problem of reflection in a creative heritage of the famous Russian thinker of the second half of the XIX century of Konstantin N. Leontyev (1831-1891) questions connected with modernization of post-reform Russian society. On the basis of studying of publicistic and epistolary heritage of the representative of conservative thought such aspects problems as criticism by K.N. Leontyev of a bourgeois socio-political system of the countries of Europe and America of an era of modern times from a position of a right monarchic public ideal, its approach to allocation of the traditional lines of the Russian society not compatible to formation of bases of capitalist way and civil society are considered. The characteristic of treatment by K.N. Leontyev of negative consequences of modernization public transformations in post-reform Russia is also given. On the basis of the received conclusions the assessment of degree of compliance of the post-reform conservative socio-political program historical is given by realities of the second half of the XIX century.
