Problems of German musical classics in belleslettres and epistolary works of I. S. Turgenev

The author studies the influence of German classical music on forming the esthetic views of I.S. Turgenev. The article cites the facts from the biography connected with the names of German composers (L. van Bethoven, I.S. Bach, R. Vagner), gives the analysis of some parts of the works of art and correspondence, reveals musical preferences of the writer.
