Problems of providing free legal aid

The work is devoted to the study of free legal aid in the Russian Federation and the identification of problems of this phenomenon. The main method is analytical. It was determined that the quality standards for the provision of free legal assistance should reflect the skills and abilities: interviewing, advising clients, analyzing legal position, drafting procedural documents, compliance with professional ethics. In conclusion, it is concluded that there is a demand for free legal aid. Legal assistance approached in terms of its quality, timeliness and qualification to legal assistance. It is necessary to develop and implement a quality standard of free qualified legal assistance, approve the criteria for specialists, make funding from the federal budget, and send forces to encourage lawyers to be interested in providing these services.
