In modern legal literature, various authors have developed many opinions regarding the definition of the nature of forensic science. Undoubtedly, all these authors have their own reasons and arguments, so all these opinions really have a right to exist. However, in determining the nature of forensic science, the most important criteria seem to be such criteria as the nature and content of the subject of forensic science as a science. At the same time, it is equally important to take into account the characteristic features of forensics and its role in the system of legal sciences, based on the fact that forensics, of course, is a science of law.
