Problems of organizing the economic protection of innovation projects

Аbstract. The implementation of innovative projects is associated with a high level of risks characteristic of innovation activities. The analysis showed that such a common method of protection as insurance does not always provide quick restoration of project characteristics, and redundancy may seem to private companies as a rather expensive method of protection. In this regard, the problem of decision-making in the choice of methods of economic protection is of particular relevance. The paper presents a model of economic protection developed on the basis of NPV, which allows to evaluate each method and justify the choice.
