Problems of the organization of teaching engineering and graphic disciplines in universities

The features of teaching engineering and graphic disciplines in universities are considered. A number of problems have been identified that have a negative impact on students' mastery of these disciplines. The dependence of the quality of higher education on general secondary education is noted. The importance of studying the academic subject “Drawing” in schools and engineering and graphic disciplines in universities is emphasized to strengthen the human resources potential of industry and science in Russia. Options for studying engineering and graphic disciplines in different educational institutions are presented, their advantages and disadvantages are highlighted.
