Problems of the organization of currency control in Russia in the conditions of sanctions

The article discusses the measures of currency regulation in order to ensure the economic security of the Russian Federation, the protection of individuals and legal entities in the face of sanctions by the United States, the EU and other "unfriendly" countries in relation to Russia. Amendments have been made to the law on currency regulation and control, which significantly soften the requirements for foreign exchange transactions of businesses and the public, regulates the procedure for conducting transactions with currencies. The main task of the amendments to the law is to strengthen the ruble exchange rate and the Russian economy, to stop the outflow of funds abroad. To do this, the Bank of Russia has set new thresholds for individuals to transfer funds abroad. The article discusses restrictions on currency transactions between residents, measures to reduce administrative responsibility.
