Problems of selection of candidates for jurors

The author identifies the problematic aspects of the tendentiousness of the composition of the jury, as well as through historical retrospect, the prerequisites for the emergence of such problems are identified. Based on the analysis of regulatory legal acts, an attempt has been made to resolve some of the existing conflicts that arise during the selection of candidates for jurors. The necessity of modernization of the institute of jurors in the Russian Federation in modern conditions is substantiated.
